
Brett Mills graduated from the University of Queensland University in 1979 with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering. He has provided professional engineering advice for projects in both Australia and Papua New Guinea, and is an Engineer who can simultaneously think outside the square and relate to people. Brett is Managing Director of Mills Engineers Pty Ltd, and with in excess of over 20 years experience in structural engineering, still enjoys the rewards and challenges associated with our range of diverse and interesting projects. Brett takes a personal interest in all our projects and inspects most of the projects during construction.
With many years experience in Geotechnical site evaluations, Carl completed his degree in Civil Engineering from QUT in 2001, and achieved recognition as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland in 2006. Carl is the manager of Geotech Drilling Services Pty Ltd, a company that works in conjunction with Mills Engineers out of our Bardon Offices, and provides professional engineering services in Site Investigations, Site Classification, Soil Testing and On Site Sewerage Assessment. Carl is also developing his professional skills in structural design, detailing and inspection services.
Laura is our Office Manager, and is responsible for everything in our office from managing and coordinating our correspondence, answering the phone and looking after the coffee machine. If no one else in our office can help you, Laura certainly can!
David is our Senior Structural Draftsperson who joined Mills Engineers in 2005, and has achieved the professional qualification of Certificate III - Engineering Technician Level 1. He has a variety of experience in technical drafting of structural drawings for residential and commercial renovations and new buildings.
Mac Hamilton joined Mills Engineers in November, 2008 as a graduate structural engineer, having completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Queensland. He has experience in residential and commercial structural engineering, as well as structural condition surveys and reports.
Kay Liang graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2009 with two Master Degrees majoring in Civil and Structural Engineering and joined Mills Engineers in November, 2009 as a graduate structural engineer. He is a self-motivated and high achieving individual and has a keen desire to achieve Chartered Status in structural engineering.
Fiona has a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and also completed a Master Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of New South Wales in 2008. Fiona joined Mills Engineers recently as a graduate structural engineer. She is passionate about structural design and has a sound education background in structural engineering.
